Unwrap a delicious family day out at the home of chocolate this World Chocolate Day (Saturday 7th July).
Set in the historic village of Bournville, Cadbury World is the ultimate day out filled with chocolatey delights for visitors of all ages to discover – no matter what the weather.
Step into the amazing world of Cadbury with a self-guided tour that takes in a range of wonderful and entertaining zones. Visitors begin their journey with the origins of chocolate and the humble cocoa bean within the depths of the Aztec Jungle before an interactive journey through the creation of the Cadbury brand, including a walk down Advertising Avenue and coming face-to-face with a certain famous drumming gorilla.
For those wishing to make the most of the sunny weather, the African Adventure Play Area - a three storey high play area complete with climbing zones, rope bridges and a separate play zone for under 5s - is the place to explore. Visitors can also cool off and enjoy a taste of summer at the outdoor cabin where delicious ice-creams and a range of refreshing drinks are available.
Thrills are just around the corner in the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone where guests can experience the feeling of riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster and diving into a pot of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk – all without leaving their 4D motion seat. Next, take a ride in a Beanmobile on Cadabra as you are a whisked through the magical, fun-filled world of the Chuckle Beans, finished off with a fun interactive experience with the digital delights of the Purple Planet.
In the Chocolate Making zone, watch as the master chocolatiers create a range of beautiful exclusive designs before trying some for yourself with a tasting pot of delicious warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk, complete with a choice of your favourite topping including marshmallows and popping candy.
For chocoholics, a visit to The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop is not to be missed, with a range of souvenirs and favourite Cadbury treats available to take home. The Cadbury Café also serves up a variety of mouth-watering delights including the famous Cadbury Rocky Road and scrumptious Cadbury themed frappés and milkshakes.
